3 years ago, was hectic with the packing stuff to have my first time flight abroad. Never ending packing even until the laz minute, and finally got charged for over luggage -.-

Never splashed on my head that I might spend 3 years in Korea. But here I am, still in here ^^
And it much more beyond that I planned. At first, I planned to go for study only (err OK, with traveling desire of course kkk), but now.. I’m working in here (and again, still with traveling spirit kk)

Last week of November, first week of Advent…

And for me, it’s the first snow in winter ^^ Well I heard, it was snowing a bit last Saturday morning. But I was still sleeping hoho..

So finally today is the day for my first snow ^^ The day was started with -5C in the morning, and should go out for church as usual…
Yes, it was freezing… but when it’s snowing, it’s always lovely ^^ all the cold was forgotten, include my cold *sneeze sneeze*.

Longest hibernation I guess ^^

It’s been sooo looong, kinda miss to write, but in the other side, I should confess working does really make me busy… *somehow miss student life ^^*

But I keep hold the motto “Work hard play hard” ^^

Lot’s of stuff happened. One of the best thing was finally mom dad came here couple of months ago. Not only that, bro n sis in law also came altogether.
What a big bless for me ^__^ I wished for mom and dad, but I got extra bro and sis in law. Thnx G ^^

Just want to drop by for a while, at least before the year ends. It’s already Nov, less than 1.5 month left before 2010 ends… Time to check on resolution list : )

And it’s winter in here now~~and as always thing that I will always love from winter is…SNOW ^^ can’t wait to see snowy days again~

Daily Korean Words

(dunno how, but currently I’m interesting with korean words which come from chinese words)

Just a quick note for some vocabs. I used to have a problem when learning Korean words that come from Hanja (chinese character).
But once I know it, it’s pretty interesting ^^
Cos it can be linked to other words.

1. 휴양 (休養) [HyuYang]

The 휴 is the same word with 휴가 (休暇) [HyuGa] and 휴일 (休日) [HyuIl], which means take a rest (쉬다).
~가 in 휴가 means times / period.
In dictionary휴가 means vacation, which literally means time (가) for taking a rest (휴).
~일 in 휴일 means day.
So it means day-off, or day for taking a rest.

The 양 in here means something that improved / getting better.
Just like the words 요양 (療養) which means recuperation or recovery.

So when you know the origin of the word, the 휴양 is not only recreation, but it’s like taking a rest that can makes your self getting better (either feeling / condition). Something that’s more about relaxing, enjoying something.

2. 청춘 (靑春) [CheongChun]

The easiest way for me to remember this 청 is 청바지 [CheongBaji] which means (blue) Jeans.
This 청 means blue / green / young. Word that indicated something new, fresh , the step to begin of something.
Another example is 청사진 which means blueprint.

The 춘 in here is another word for spring (봄).

Just like in dictionary 청춘 means youth.
So imagine the feeling when spring is coming, it’s bright and colorful. Something that can make cheer up, something that full of spirit.

Hey ho~~ back here after had a great weekend ^_^.

Last week was pretty busy at office.. in a week 3 days came back home late at nite and as usual, after worked hard, don’t forget to play hard ^__^

Introducing Tasirak

As a fan of instant meal, it’s pretty interesting to find this stuff.

Wiki said :
Yukgaejang is a spicy, soup-like Korean dish made from shredded beef with scallions and other ingredients, which are simmered together for a long time

And now it’s possible to get a YukGaeJang (육게장) without any pan, nor water. And it’s just take less than 10 minutes. The product is called TaSiRak (따시락). The pronunciation is pretty closed with DoSiRak (도시락) which means lunch box in Korean.

So let’s see what’s the TaSiRak is ^ ^

Hopefully it will be more available in convenience store.

yeah got a new stuff for this month kkk. Now posting from hospital hihii…just got a appendices surgery on monday. Got a sudden terrible stomach ache, then went to ICU. Then got surgery on 9pm directly.

Well today is the third day, and finally can eat porridge ^_^ *though can’t finish it*
Now still walking with infuse stand beside me hihi *still have to bring it everywhere i go*, since the doc said i should move a lot, so walk here and there and now here i am in a room where i can rent a pc with inet.

Ok gotta go back to room soon~~~ can wait till Friday.
And hopefully can go out of hospital this Fri *if there’s nothing happen~*
