Yey.. finally I fly again and have a smooth landing ^^.
Cos the first trial on the last summer, I had a great flight BUT didnt have a smooth landing…cos I was landing on the chestnut tree *ouch*. And that time I just knew that chestnut has thorny skin *arrgh what a luck*

Well well… to revenge the 1st unsuccessful experience, finally I tried again last month ^^. Thank God, the day was just perfect for flying! And the place was also great 🙂

Little France

Lil bit flash back to last month…..

Dec 14th 08 (Sunday)

It’s just 2 months before i posted about this place… And finally i went there today..
At first we were planned only 3 of us… me mayumi n deb…but at last, it became a big group of 11 people hahaha… and unfortunately i was the tour leader..but somehow i enjoyed it…organized a thing for people 🙂

So I searched for the transportation to go there… whether by train or bus. Thnx a lot to 언니 (read onni, mean older sister) for helping me to find about it. After thought about this n that… we decided to go there by bus, cos the train schedule quite unmatched with the shuttle bus schedule.

And finally we went to Pettite France ^ ^

We gathered in 청량리역 (CheongYangI subway station) to take the bus to 대성리역 (DaeSongRi station).  Actually i was a bit worry, whether we could take the 10.35 shuttle bus fron DaeSongRi station to Pettite France or not…cos it said that it will take around 100 minutes to go there… So we met in CheongYangI at 9am)

From there we took a bus to DaeSongRi station…and it just took for (less than) an hour… cos there was no traffic jam.. and everything ran smooth. And it means, we had to wait there ^ ^

Pettite France Bus

Pettite France Bus

When we saw the shuttle bus around 10am we ran to catch that hihi….but when we got the shuttle bus, the driver said the bus will go at 10.35… hoho so we walked around while waiting for the bus to go.

And took some pictures of course ^ ^

And finally we arrived in Pettite France on lunch time… bought a ticket for 8000 won… and decided to have lunch before we started the sightseeing.

There was (only) 1 korean buffet restaurant, which called Bistro… hmm i was thinking, may be they should provide some european meals too for lunch 😛 and it’s quite expensive…around 9000 won (if i’m not mistaken) but it’s buffet, so we can take as much as u want…
hmmm for the meal, it was so so… there was no dessert… well actually they provided ice cream, but it’s not in part of the buffet (too bad)

After lunch, we started our trip 🙂 Went here and there…took pictures… wathced the small concert (nice one) and had a snack (waffle and coffee ^ ^)

Well, i enjoyed this trip, especially we went there in a big group like this…and it’s a multiculture group hihi (1 iranian, 2 japanese, 1 chinese, 1 korean, 1 singaporean, 2 thai, 3 indonesian ^ ^). Language?? we mixed it up :D, korean – english – indonesian hihihihi… it was great 🙂

we were lucky too, cos the sky was so bright, so we could take a nice pic, but don’t trust the sunlight…. it was cold and windy… But the show must go on hohoho….

I like the environment there.

Hmmm i think i’ll go there again this spring ^ ^

More pictures in here.

In the crowd

This year i spent my old n new quite different from previous years… I put my self in the crowd ^ ^ the thing that I didn’t use to do before ^ ^

I had dinner with friends in MyeongDong, and had Crepes.. We had great dinner ^ ^ (too much actually for me :D) And after that, some friends went back to dorm, while me and others continued for the next round 😀

Unfortunately it was terribly cold outside, so we decided to wait for the countdown in Dunkin, which means, i ordered Hot Choco hihihi….around 11pm.. er started to go out again… and lucky cos there were so many people..i felt warmer at least.

When i said so many, it means sooooo many..cos not only people who want to countdown in Jongak, but also some demonstrants hahaha…so it was totally crowded…plus the polices.. Wow… They also brought flags to protest the president..

Some pics of the crowd

But I enjoyed it ^ ^
(video of the countdown will be uploaded, it was so interesting 🙂 )

I arrived at dorm around 1AM, and set alarm to wake up in the morning, to say hi to the first sunrise ^ ^ My friend told me, it’s a culture in here to see the first sunrise of the new year… *wow, cool*, since i love it, so i join her too 😀 at first we wanted to go to the beach, but it was too far.. plus it’s gonna be colder and windy… moreover my condition still not fully recovered (yeah..gotta bad flu, and still tired a bit..but it didn’t stop me to see the sunrise ^ ^ )

So we decided to go to Namsan Tower

We checked the sunrise will be 7.46AM, so we arranged to meet in the station at 6.40AM..

I woke up around 5.45AM, and quickly went to the subway 😀 and i was surprised… cos to get the bus, we had to take the queue… *wow another crowd* and in the bus it was so crowded too…but lucky we got a seat :D. My friend came with her boyfriend…

But it was nothing….When we arrived in Namsan, i was more surprised… there were so many people had been there while we arrived… *wow, what time did they arrive there??*

see some people already took their place on the tree.. wow wow n wow…and don’t ask bout the was cold…around -8 or -9 i guess…
But i was lucky to go there with my friend…they brought kimbab for breakfast hihihi… and after the watching sunrise, I got sandwich and warm water…What a perfect ^ ^

After went up and finally decided to go down again, cos we didn’t get a good spot…finally we satisfied by sneaking the sunrise that blocked with the big tree…but still we could see the beauty of the sun that slowly appear from the red sky untill the full sun…it was beautiful.

and i took the pic like every second hahhaa…
